🔌 Fibre Division
• Over 21,000 fibre installs completed across NI & Cumbria

⚡ Power Division

⚡Distribution Network
• 210km of 11kV Overhead Line Rebuild
• Over 28000 LV poles surveyed
• Over 30000 HV poles surveyed
• Over 30000 properties surveyed

⚡Transmission Network
• Various Transmission schemes completed including 110KV pole replacements – 86 pole sets replaced, 100 tower step-bolts replaced, colour plates and number plates, 275KV tension and suspension insulator replacements ,110KV tower inspections – 103 towers inspected.
110KV – 19.9KM of old earth-wire recovered and new strung. This included crossing over a railway line, motorway, 1 x 275KV overcrossing, 1 x 33KV crossing, 23 x 11KV crossings and 7 x LV crossings &12 fibre splices also completed.
110KV AP1 pole replacements – 24 x AP1 poles replaced, repositioned and new poles erected.

Power Division:

Kells to Glengormley 110kV Circuit Delivered on behalf of Aureos for Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIEN) under Lot 2 of the T312 (2025) Framework Contract: Construction, Refurbishment & Restringing of Transmission Overhead Lines,

Earth wire stringing is currently underway on the 110kV Kells–Glengormley transmission circuit using OPGW conductor. The route includes multiple distribution network interfaces, as well as critical motorway and railway crossings. Works are being delivered using an Aerial Catenary Support System to manage clearance risks across transport corridors and ensure full compliance with DNO safety and operational standards.

Job Description – Street Works Coordinator
Location: Penrith
Reports To: Operations Manager
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Hrs: 45 p/w

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Street Works Coordinator to manage the effective coordination, planning, and administration of all street works activities. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act (TMA), and local authority requirements, with particular focus on managing permits, notices, and associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and submit permit/notice applications in line with local authority requirements and legislation (NRSWA/TMA).
Ensure all permits are granted prior to works commencing and are managed throughout their lifecycle.
Monitor permit compliance, avoiding fines, FPNs, and overruns.
Liaise with local councils, highways authorities, utility companies, and internal teams to ensure effective communication.
Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and works carried out.
Support the scheduling of works to minimise disruption and ensure permit conditions are met.
Monitor traffic management requirements and ensure works adhere to approved plans.
Report on KPIs, including permit success rates, compliance statistics, and costs associated with FPNs/overruns.
Support the business with updates on legislation, permit schemes, and changes in compliance requirements.

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a Street Works Coordinator, Street Works Administrator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of NRSWA, TMA, and local authority street works permitting processes.
Confident in using permit management systems (e.g. Symology, Street Manager, Mayrise, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Qualifications:
NRSWA qualification (Supervisor/Operative)
Knowledge of Chapter 8 (Traffic Management)
Full UK driving licence
