We are hiring!
We are a growing, well-established electrical contracting business working across domestic, commercial, and multi-site contracts. As the business continues to scale, we are creating a new full-time Office Manager / Operations role to act as the central point of contact between management, field engineers, and clients.
This is not a traditional admin role.
We’re looking for an experienced, confident, and proactive individual who enjoys owning responsibility, improving how things are done, and being the person who keeps the wheels turning day-to-day.
What you’ll be responsible for
You will be trusted to manage and improve the core operational flow of the business, including:
• Acting as the main office point of contact for engineers, clients, suppliers, and management
• Coordinating jobs, schedules, and ongoing contract work
• Supporting multi-site and repeat contracts, ensuring nothing is missed or left incomplete
• Managing office workflows, follow-ups, and priorities
• Working closely with management to improve systems, processes, and efficiency
• Ensuring paperwork, compliance, and client communication are handled professionally and on time
• Spotting issues before they become problems and taking ownership to resolve them.
You’ll be hands-on when needed, but also trusted to step back, organise, and improve how the office runs as a whole.
This role will suit someone who:
Has solid experience in an office manager, operations, or senior admin role.
Is comfortable juggling multiple priorities and switching between tasks
Is naturally proactive — you don’t wait to be chased or reminded
Enjoys working with people and can communicate confidently with engineers, clients, and management
Thinks in systems and processes, not just individual tasks
Is reliable, organised, and follows things through to completion
Is confident enough to take ownership, but collaborative in approach
Experience in construction, trades, facilities management, or similar environments is a strong advantage, but not essential for the right person.
What we offer:
A key role in a growing business where your input genuinely matters
Full-time hours with stability and long-term opportunity
The chance to shape and improve how the business operates
A supportive management team who value initiative and responsibility
Competitive pay based on experience.
Important to note:
This is a full-time role with ownership and responsibility. It will suit someone who wants to be fully embedded in the business and act as a trusted operational lead within the office
