We are truly heartbroken at the loss of Jim Wylie.

Jim was a friend first and foremost, long before he ever worked alongside us. He was part of our lives for many years, someone who supported, encouraged and believed in us, including when we took the step to purchase our commercial premises. Jim and Andrea were often our “unofficial board”, a reflection of the trust, guidance and steady support they gave us over the years.

He was a true gentleman, with a warmth and kindness that made people feel instantly at ease, and a quiet strength that so many of us leaned on. He brought more than just his work, he brought his presence, his reassurance, and his unwavering support. He meant a great deal to all of us, and to so many beyond our business.

His loss will be felt deeply across our entire team, many of whom knew him not just as a colleague, but as a friend.

We feel incredibly lucky to have known him, and we will carry his memory with us.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Andrea and the family at this incredibly difficult time.

As proud main sponsors of Race Over The Glen, JB Door Systems are honoured to support the incredible charity Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer (NIPANC) on New Year’s Day.

This year’s race is especially meaningful as we remember Ewan, our much-loved piper, who sadly passed away from this devastating disease earlier this year. Ewan brought such atmosphere, pride and heart to the race, and he will be deeply missed by everyone involved.

We’re proud to stand alongside Ballymena Runners in raising funds and awareness for NIPANC, helping support families affected by pancreatic cancer and funding vital work here in Northern Ireland.
