This weekend, some of motorsport's biggest names won't be on the entry list, they'll be on the circuit map.

British GT visits Donington Park, home to the famous Craner Curves. The section is named after Fred Craner, a motorcycle racer and Derby Motor Club official. He persuaded the owner of the Donington estate to allow racing on the park roads, which eventually became Britain's first permanent park road racing circuit.

Over in Texas, the WEC takes on Circuit of The Americas. Turn one, at the top of the impossibly steep climb, is known as Big Red, named after Texas businessman Red McCombs, the automotive dealer, entrepreneur, and one of the circuit's largest backers when COTA was built.

F1 heads to Monza, where drivers will attack the Variante Ascari, named after two time World Champion Alberto Ascari. Few drivers better symbolise Italy's golden era of motor racing, and his name remains part of every lap at the Temple of Speed.

For most fans, they're just corner names, but every circuit carries its own hall of fame, etched into the tarmac.

And if you'd rather admire remarkable cars at a gentler pace, Concours of Elegance got underway at Hampton Court Palace today and continues throughout this weekend.

GT3's rise to a global motorsport phenomenon is on full display this weekend.

The GT World Challenge is in action across three continents. GT World Challenge Asia races at Okayama in Japan, GT World Challenge Europe heads to the NΓΌrburgring for an Endurance Cup round, and GT World Challenge America visits Road America in the United States.

What makes GT World Challenge unique is that these series do not operate in isolation. Results from America, Asia, Australia, and Europe all contribute to a single global manufacturers' championship, meaning every result this weekend feeds into the same season long battle.

The category's success is also reflected in its growing heritage. At the NΓΌrburgring, the GT3 Revival Series celebrates the cars that helped establish GT3, while the fourth round of the Le Mans Classic Series, the Dix Mille Tours at features GT3 machinery competing in the Endurance Racing Legends 2 grid. Two decades on, the cars that helped launch GT3's success story are now becoming historic racing machines in their own right.

Away from the circuits, the WRC continues in Paraguay. With the opening stages getting underway now, crews will spend the weekend fighting for every second as Rally del Paraguay writes the latest chapter of this year's championship battle.

Finally, a little closer to home, we'd like to wish our friends at CarFest and Silverstone the very best for the weekend ahead. This year's event marks the beginning of a new chapter as CarFest arrives at its new home, and we hope it is a fantastic few days for organisers and visitors alike as they raise money for UK children's charities.

Some circuits are designed around the landscape. Others are shaped by it.

This weekend's racing includes four tracks where the terrain is impossible to ignore. F1 heads to Zandvoort for the last time, where the circuit rises and falls through the Dutch sand dunes. IMSA races at VIRginia International Raceway , home to the Climbing Esses and more than 130 feet of elevation change. The European Le Mans Series, along with the Le Mans Cup, returns to Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, where the Ardennes hills create some of the most dramatic gradients in motorsport. And in Japan, SUPER GT takes on Suzuka's famous figure of eight, a layout that follows the natural contours of the land beneath it.

The weekend covers different championships, different cars and different continents, but all racing at circuits whose character comes as much from where they were built as from how they were built.

Every photograph tells two stories.

The one in the frame, and the one behind the camera.

Whether it's a rally stage in the desert, a pit stop at Le Mans, a finish line celebration, a mountain pass, or a Paris street scene, we're fortunate to work with photographers who find perspectives the rest of us would miss.

This , we're celebrating the people behind the lens and sharing a handful of images that have stayed with us.

Two races in London. Two at Snetterton. Two at the NΓΌrburgring.

Formula E returns to ExCeL London for its title deciding finale. The world's only indoor outdoor circuit hosts the final two races of the GEN3 era, with nine drivers still mathematically capable of becoming World Champion. By Sunday evening, the title will be decided and one of the most influential chapters in Formula E's history will come to an end.

The summer break is over for GT racing.

British GT resumes at Snetterton, where long straights, high speed direction changes, and heavy braking zones mean getting every detail right. After nearly two months away, the second half of the season begins on one of Britain's fastest tracks.

Meanwhile, DTM returns at the NΓΌrburgring Sprint Circuit. Where Snetterton feels expansive, the 3.629 km NΓΌrburgring layout compresses the action into a busy, unforgiving lap. With only three race weekends remaining after this one, the championship enters the point where every result starts to carry greater consequences.

By Sunday night, two championships will have written another chapter, and one story will have its ending.

Prodrive is celebrating alongside JCB, Ricardo and the whole JCB Hydromax team after the hydrogen-powered streamliner established a new FIA World Land Speed Record with an official average speed of 406.320 mph.

Driven by Wing Commander Andy Green OBE, JCB Hydromax completed the record attempt on the Bonneville Salt Flats, setting a new world benchmark for a hydrogen combustion-powered vehicle. The achievement represents the culmination of an intensive development programme that combined JCB's hydrogen combustion technology with engineering and operational expertise from across the project team.

Following its appointment to the programme this time last year, Prodrive has played a key role, being responsible for vehicle integration and trackside operations, helping prepare both car and crew for the unique challenges of a world land speed record campaign.

Prodrive is celebrating with the wider JCB Hydromax team after the hydrogen-powered streamliner established a new Southern California Timing Association (SCTA) class record at Bonneville Speed Week, marking an important milestone ahead of next week’s FIA World Land Speed Record attempt.

Driven by Wing Commander Andy Green OBE on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, JCB Hydromax reached an average speed of 368.347 mph across two runs achieving a new SCTA class record during yesterday's competition at the world’s most prestigious land speed racing event. The record clearly demonstrates the capability of JCB’s hydrogen-powered technology and the progress the team has made since the programme began little more than a year ago.

The summer break may have arrived for much of the four wheel racing world, but one of the most intriguing title fights for years on two wheels kicks off again after its break this .

MotoGP returns to Silverstone with just 24 points covering the top five riders in the World Championship. As the second half of the season begins, every race, every point and every mistake could have a major impact on the title battle.

No cockpit, no bodywork, no seatbelts. Just rider and machine operating on the limit through corners that demand absolute precision.

Silverstone provides the perfect stage. Fast, flowing corners reward commitment and confidence, while its recent history has been remarkably unpredictable, with each MotoGP race at the circuit since 2013 producing a different winner.

So if you're looking for your motorsport fix this weekend, here's where to watch the action live:
