The countdown is on at the Falls project.

When we committed to delivering this project in just 16 weeks, we knew the programme was ambitious. The scope is extensive, the detailing is intricate and there are countless moving parts that all need to align perfectly. But there is no compromise.

Our target completion date is Friday 3rd July, and failure simply isn’t an option - because Orry and the team already have their reservations booked!

This unique transformation has includes:

▪️Full renovation of the existing cottage
▪️State-of-the-art kitchen installation
▪️Heating and hot water upgrades
▪️Complete electrical re-wire
▪️New washroom facilities
▪️Bespoke cabinetry
▪️Custom bar and sommelier area
▪️Ceramic tiling and flooring packages
▪️Full internal decoration with distinctive, carefully curated finishes

The pressure is certainly on, but that’s exactly where great teams thrive.

Without doubt, this is one of the most unique and technically demanding projects we’ve delivered to date. The finish line is in sight, and we’re determined to cross it on schedule.

This home has undergone a significant upgrade, including a new roof structure, new zinc roof covering, improved insulation throughout, beautiful timber cladding from Russwood and a feature douglas fir entrance porch.

A project focused on improving performance, longevity and improved aesthetics in equal measure.

This project was challenging to deliver given the weather we experienced earlier in the year - but hats off to our team, who persevered and delivered a top quality finish. Well done 👏🏻

Congratulations to Alex, who last week successfully passed his skills test and is now reaching the conclusion of his four-year Level 3 apprenticeship in Joinery & Carpentry.

Over the past four years, Alex has shown commitment, hard work and determination throughout his apprenticeship journey and we’d like to thank him for all of his efforts during that time.

At Sangster & Co, we’re incredibly proud to have supported Alex’s development and are excited to see him continue building a successful future within our business. The real learning begins now, as he takes on more exciting projects independently and continues to develop his skills and career.

Another big week of progress at the Falls project for Orry, Bruce and the team.

We’re excited to see the ames taping now underway, with flooring works commencing today - marking another key milestone as the space really starts to take shape.

Next week brings the start of floor and wall tiling, a significant stage in the programme that will begin to showcase the design vision and overall aesthetic of the venue.

We’re also delighted to have completed the main structural and first fix elements of the project. Our focus now turns towards the high-end finishing details that will truly define the space - including the bespoke bar, custom cabinetry, sommelier, banquet seating and a range of carefully considered feature finishes.

A huge amount of work has gone into reaching this point and we’re looking forward to sharing the next phase of the transformation over the coming weeks.

Works underway at our Ballogie project.

We’re pleased to be on site carrying out alterations to the existing steading, including a full internal renovation, a new dormer extension and installation of windows and doors throughout. Alongside this, the detached garage will be converted to form a self-contained annexe.

A great start thanks to our clients, who have completed the strip-out and left the building well prepared for the next phase.

We are looking forward to seeing this one take shape over the coming months.

A practical addition to our client’s boot room, built entirely bespoke to suit how the space is used day to day.

A dedicated dog shower for Nova, the new arrival, sits neatly alongside a made-to-measure cloaks area, designed to take coats, boots and the general wear that comes with it, complete with locally sourced ash to form the bench top.

Simple, well-considered joinery, built to last and to work hard without fuss.

This project was part of an overall garage conversion, forming a boot room, utility room and study.

Our Aboyne project has been a real journey since we started on site.

Facing heavy snowfall and relentless rain at the start of the year, progress wasn’t always easy - but the team pushed through every challenge.

This has been a full transformation: a brand new roof structure and zinc covering, complete re-cladding of the walls, upgraded insulation, new windows, soffits, fascias, and rainwater system - plus a standout feature porch canopy added by our client.

Now in the closing stages, we’re proud of how far it’s come and can’t wait to reveal the finished result.
