Update:

Our Surveyors have managed to get out to work today, unfortunately they won’t be Available to help out just now. Thank you to all the kind words from those who we helped. Hopefully that’s the snow easing now and roads are clearing. If the weather deteriorates again we will offer our services again.

With the heavy snowfall across the area, Diversity Energy Solutions would like to offer support to our local community.

We have two 4x4 vehicles available and can help with:

Transporting key workers safely to and from work

Collecting shopping or essentials for anyone struggling to get out

Assisting local shops with deliveries if they’re short of drivers

We will do what we can only Macduff, Banff and possibly Whitehills depending on road conditions.

We Won! Carbon Reduction Award 🏆

I’m thrilled to share that Diversity Energy Solutions has won the Carbon Reduction Award at the Scottish Green Energy Awards 2025!

This recognition means so much to our team — especially at a time when ECO has been scrapped and uncertainty is affecting so many in our sector.

Instead of slowing down, we’ve doubled down on innovation, collaboration, and delivering meaningful carbon reduction for rural and coastal communities across Scotland.

A huge thank you to Scottish Power for their direct ECO4 funding support, and to SCARF for their partnership and Flex management. And of course, thank you to our incredible team and installer network whose commitment to fabric-first retrofit never wavers.

And of course, thank you to Scottish Renewables for an unforgettable night and for recognising the importance of carbon reduction in rural communities.

🧑‍💻 We Are Hiring - Domestic Energy Assessor 👨‍💻

📍 Location: Banff, With Regular Travel Throughout Scotland

🕘 Full time, Monday - Friday

Role requirements include:

✔️ Carry out Retrofit Surveys and EPC Surveys throughout Scotland
✔️ Be able to identify any building defects such as mould, damp etc
✔️ Have knowledge and understanding of different types of heating systems, ventilation systems etc
✔️ Ability to interpret schematic drawings and draw floorplans
✔️ Organise and process relevant paperwork
✔️ Knowledge of construction would desirable but not essential as full training will be given
✔️ Willingness to travel, with some overnight stays

☑️ Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
☑️ Conduct monthly and annual closing processes
☑️ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
☑️ Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
☑️ Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights
☑️ Utilise accounting software such as Xero
☑️ Assistance with any other tasks as required
