Craig’s honey, oat and chia seed summer berry chantilly scones are a modern twist on his Grandmother’s never-fail scone recipe, with a summery makeover.
Craig also shared his top tips for making perfect, light scones:
☑️ Handle the dough as little as possible, and preferably use a mixer to make your scone dough.
☑️ If you’re using a mixer, chill the mixer bowl before using it.
☑️ Make sure the butter is chilled.
☑️ Brush the scones with beaten egg yolk before baking for a lovely golden finish.
