Redevelopment of Ysgol Y Faenol, Bangor

During the summer holidays we have been able to take some fabulous drone photos of the school new extension and redevelopment.
With the project now complete, we hope the pupils enjoy the new school facilities when they return in September.

Yn ystod gwyliau'r haf, rydym wedi gallu tynnu lluniau drôn gwych o estyniad ac ailddatblygiad newydd yr ysgol.
Gyda'r prosiect bellach wedi'i gwblhau, gobeithiwn y bydd y disgyblion yn mwynhau'r cyfleusterau ysgol newydd pan fyddant yn dychwelyd ym mis Medi.

Yn ystod y gwyliau hanner tymor diweddar, treuliodd Deian wythnos ar brofiad gwaith yn ein prosiect Ysgol Y Faenol.
Enillodd Deian sy'n astudio rheoli adeiladu BTEC L3 brofiad rheoli safle hanfodol gyda thîm y safle. Da iawn!

During the recent half term holidays, Coleg Menai learner, Deian spent a week on work experience at our Ysgol Y Faenol project.
Deian who is studying BTEC L3 construction management gained essential site management experience with the site team. Well done!

Llongyfarchiadau i Romek, dysgwr o Grŵp Llandrillo-Menai a gwblhaodd leoliad profiad gwaith yr wythnos diwethaf ar safle Ysgol Y Faenol. Mae bellach wedi cael cynnig prentisiaeth saernïaeth gyda Wynne Construction - da iawn Romek!

Congratulations to Romek, a learner from Grŵp Llandrillo-Menai who completed a work experience placement last week at the Ysgol Y Faenol site. He has now been offered a joinery apprenticeship with Wynne Construction - well done Romek!

Lluniau cynnydd diweddaraf. Mae'r adeilad yn gweithio i'r estyniad newydd ac mae ailfodelu'r gegin a neuadd yr ysgol yn parhau drwy wyliau'r haf.

Latest progress photos. The building works to the new extension and the remodelling of the kitchen area and school hall are continuing through the summer holidays.

Llongyfarchiadau i'r rheolwr safle, Ian Williams sydd wedi derbyn Performance Beyond Compliance ar gyfer y prosiect. Cafodd Ian ei archwilio gan y "Considerate Constructors Scheme".

Congratulations to site manager, Ian Williams who has received Performance Beyond Compliance for the project. Ian was audited by the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

Mae'r gwaith dymchwel wedi cychwyn ar gam newydd y prosiect. Mae staff a disgyblion bellach yn defnyddio'r ystafelloedd dosbarth newydd a'r gofod canolfan gymunedol.

The demolition works have started on the new phase of the project. Staff and pupils are now using the new classrooms and community centre space.

Mae'n Wythnos Genedlaethol Prentisiaethau ac i ddathlu llwyddiant prentisiaethau, hoffem longyfarch y tri phrentis sy'n gweithio ar brosiect Ysgol Y Faenol ar hyn o bryd. Da iawn i Adam, Ryan a Josh!!

It's National Apprenticeship Week and to celebrate the success of apprenticeships, we would like to congratulate the three apprentices currently working on the Ysgol Y Faenol project. Well done to Adam, Ryan and Josh!!
