HGV Class 2 Driver – Grab, Tipper & RoRo

Location: Newport + carmarthanshire
Salary: Competitive rates + overtime available
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team. This role involves operating Grab, Tipper, and Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles across construction, waste management, recycling, and aggregate sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 2 Grab, Tipper, and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
Deliver and collect aggregates, waste, recycled materials, and site equipment.
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting.
Ensure compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety procedures.
Provide professional customer service on construction sites, commercial premises, and recycling facilities.

Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous experience operating Grab, Tipper, or RoRo vehicles preferred.

Desirable Qualifications
Grab/HIAB certificate.
Knowledge of local road networks and site operations.

Stable, long-term employment with a supportive team.

Rachel Whan – HR & Finance Manager
Rachel is responsible for group-wide HR and financial management, including payroll, invoicing, subcontractor administration, compliance, and policy coordination. She manages all office-based staff and organises training for both office and site-based workers, ensuring competence, compliance, and up-to-date records across the group. Rachel also oversees day-to-day office operations to support efficient and compliant project delivery.

Linda – Accounts & VAT Administration
Linda supports the group with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and financial administration, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records.

Contracts & Business Development
Ken Davies – Contracts Manager
Ken is responsible for securing and developing new work opportunities across the group. His role includes liaising with clients, pricing and tendering, and forward planning of upcoming projects to support sustained growth and workload continuity.

Site Management & Operations

Steve Rees – Site Manager
Steve oversees day-to-day site operations, including workforce coordination, health and safety compliance, and quality control. He acts as the primary point of contact for on-site matters.

Plant & Logistics

Nathan – Haulage & Logistics Manager
Nathan manages haulage operations, vehicle scheduling, and plant movements across the group, ensuring efficient logistical support for all projects.
