Due to continued growth and new business, we are looking for another field engineer to join our team here at IVIS.

We conduct inspections throughout the UK and are looking to add a new team member in the south east of England.

The successful candidates will have vast knowledge of common issues across all makes and models.

This role will include driving to repairers or customers home addresses to complete inspections for manufacturer mechanical and paint warranty claims, aftermarket warranty claims, finance providers, motor trade organisations and private clients.

The successful candidate would carry out visual inspections only, along with diagnostic scans. No repairs or dismantling is undertaken during inspections; therefore, this role would be most suited to a technician who would like to move away from the garage environment or physical tool work.

Some knowledge of warranty processes or consumer rights would be advantageous, although not a necessity.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, and they will benefit from the following:
● Company Car (Auto)/Van (Manual) & Unlimited Fuel Card (Including personal use, with applicable BIK tax)
● Equipment required to conduct inspections, such as diagnostic and testing equipment

Due to increasing workloads, we are looking for motivated people to join our team!

Required:

***1 X Client Support Team Member - 9:00 - 17:00 Monday, Thursday & Friday based at our head office in Barnsley S71. Pay exceeds the national living wage!

Duties will include Monitoring emails, answering calls, taking notes, some typing and online file organisation.

Must be motivated, proactive and eager to learn. Some knowledge of the motor trade would be advantageous although not required as full training will be given.

***1 X Field Engineer (Southern England) Mon - Fri. Hours, Areas and Pay to be discussed and will be dependent on experience.

Must be qualified level 3 technician or above and have vast mechanical knowledge.

This would suit a technician looking to move away from the workshop environment.

Many miles of driving involved in a company car so must have a clean licence or minimal points.

We had to make a strange decision yesterday and turned down a inspection, however, we believe we did the right thing.

We were contacted by a potential client and asked to inspect their vehicle and compile a report to show that a previous repairer was at fault.

Unfortunately, from the information and evidence available, we had to advise the client that the chances of them winning this case were very slim. We did not feel comfortable charging for a litigation inspection that we were not confident in.

Instead, we gave the client as much advice and information we could and left them to make a decision.

In any private inspections regarding liability or litigation Etc, we will always give friendly, honest advice first and foremost. We are a business and rely on profits, however, our reputation and customer satisfaction means much more to us.

If you are unsure regarding any vehicle disputes, we are here to help and our advice and initial consultation is free! We will never charge a customer for an inspection or report knowing that they will lose!
