From this to that in just one day! 💪🌱

A full 85m² of stadium grass laid on the Woolly Project.

The rotavator came out to play, the soil was levelled out, and then 4 tonnes of topsoil went down to get everything ready for the grass.

🚗🔨 Another project complete!

We’ve just finished building this fantastic three-car garage, specially made to house some very classic cars. 🏁

From start to finish, the whole project took just three weeks, and we’re really pleased with how it’s turned out.

Hopefully we’ll have some more photos coming soon, with the cars safely in and ready to show off! We can’t wait to see them in their new home. 😍

Kayd came onto site for an hour today to show us his skills — and at just 3 years old, this lad is already showing a real passion for brickwork!

He’ll make a fine little bricklayer one day here at Sykes & Sons Building & Property Ltd. 🧱💪

It’s all about inspiring the next generation and encouraging young people who have that hunger, passion and pride for the building trade.

Who knows… one day we might have a future brickie on our hands! ❤️🧱

Another foundation completed at the Leeds project for Mick Siddall , dugout concreted and built up to DPC height, ready for inspection on Monday morning.

Quality workmanship, hard work and determination continue to drive the project forward, ensuring every stage is completed to the highest standard. With the foundations approved, the joist floor will be installed on Monday, marking another significant milestone in the build.

We’ll then be back towards the end of next week to complete all remaining blockwork and brickwork, taking the structure right up to roof height.

Steady progress, attention to detail and a commitment to quality are what turn plans into finished homes.

Great progress on the new project at Monk Bretton. The double-storey side extension is already up to DPC level. The LABC inspection was completed today and passed with no issues. The floor is due to go in this week, and we’ll be ready to start building back again next week.
