Today’s job consisted in more prep work than plastering.

Skimming upto new units and above them, and down to the fresh oak cladding, which leaves dark stains if plaster gets on it.

Got there in the end 💪🏻

Happy Friday 🍻

It’s been a Busy couple of days turning this rather large living room around. Customers are renewing the floor but I chucked a sheet down anyway as working on laminate is like being on ice skates for a plasterer 🤣

This room had probably the thickest artex ceiling I’ve ever seen! For me the only option was to overboard it for the best outcome, so overboarded it got 👌🏻

All ready for the customers coming back from their week away 🤝

Living room with media wall started yesterday afternoon and finished off today. Acoustic panels to be added to the back of the boxes on the media wall once painted, hence the reason they’ve been left 👌🏻 will look mint when it’s done 👌🏻

Another one done today 👌🏻

Well, the back end of the week didn’t go as smoothly as expected.

Originally planned to skim these two ceilings on Thursday as they were a really fine artex pattern. After applying the primer it had other ideas, all the paint peeling to reveal lime wash underneath. Decided overboarding was the safest option.

A little extra work but by far a better job 👌🏻
