🚧 No one approved this hire… but here we are. 🐻

Polty Bear has taken over a desk at our office and immediately made themselves comfortable. No induction just straight into emails and very questionable productivity levels.

So far, Polty Bear’s contributions include:
✅ Sitting in meetings looking bored
✅ Eating Porridge
✅ Staring at the screen like something important is happening
✅ Ignoring the to-do list with absolute confidence

We’re not entirely sure what Polty Bear actually does… but morale has never been higher.
We’ll monitor performance closely… or just keep Polty Bear around for the vibes.

🏗️ Building Truro Methodist Church ⛪

At Poltair Construction, we’re proud to be delivering the redevelopment of Truro Methodist Church, helping to create a modern, functional space that will support the local community for years to come.
Our team is currently progressing Phase 1, which includes the construction of a three-storey extension to the rear of the existing building. This work will significantly enhance the building, providing flexible, high-quality spaces designed for a wide range of uses.
It’s a privilege to be involved in a project that combines thoughtful design with skilled construction, ensuring the church continues to play a key role within the community.
We’re committed to delivering this scheme to the highest standard and look forward to seeing it take shape over the coming months.

With groundworks now underway, it’s great to see progress starting to take shape on site. Projects like this are especially rewarding — knowing they’ll provide safe, affordable homes for local people makes all the hard work worthwhile.

🚧 Project Start Announcement | Ilfracombe Affordable Homes 🏘️

We’re pleased to share that Poltair Construction has officially commenced work on site in Ilfracombe, North Devon today.

This project will deliver 16 new affordable homes in partnership with Aster Homes, supporting much‑needed housing provision for the local community.

A huge well done to everyone involved in getting the scheme to this stage.
We’re looking forward to seeing progress on site and delivering high‑quality homes that will make a real difference to the town.

We were pleased to welcome students from Plymouth University to Trevithick Manor Farm in Newquay — a development being delivered by Poltair Construction on behalf of Treveth who are delivering these homes for the local community of Newquay.

The students had the opportunity to explore a live construction site, learn more about the industry, and gain real insight into modern building techniques and project delivery.

🌟 Inspiring Future Careers at Newquay Tretherras Secondary School! 🌟

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the Careers Fayre at Newquay Tretherras Secondary School alongside Treveth. We were excited to show students that the Construction industry offers incredible opportunities for women as well as men, with a huge variety of roles both on‑site and off‑site.

We met so many polite, curious and inspiring students with fantastic aspirations for their futures. Some already had clear goals in mind, while others were still exploring their options — and that’s completely normal. We hope that through our conversations we helped open their eyes to the diverse and exciting career paths within construction.

And of course… Polty Bear stole the show! 🐻💙
Our mascot was an absolute hit with the students and brought plenty of smiles throughout the day.

A big thank you to Newquay Tretherras for hosting such a brilliant event, and to all the students who took the time to chat to us. We loved every minute!
