First full room transformation of 2026
After being left untouched for several years, this room showed the usual signs of wear and tear — cracks in the walls, marks, and stains on both the walls and ceiling.

After a full makeover, it’s now a fresh, bright space ready to be enjoyed once the new flooring is down.

It's always an interesting job when working on old buildings, makes it all the more rewarding when its open to the public to enjoy the space when its finished.

Here is a couple of before and after photos of the church in Bishops Tawton. Not only have we repainted, and restored the plaster and windows, but have also given all the hard to reach places a good clean.

Bedroom & hallway, a big job! Lots of woodwork-banisters & doors, all sanded, undercoated & 2 coats of satin. Also replaced the wooden windowsill, due to water ingress causing rot in the old sill.
