Based in Barrow-in-Furness, Burlington Aggregates operate from a newly installed, purpose built sales office at Goldmire Quarry, which also serves as a base for our haulage fleet.

🚛 Burlington Aggregates 🚛

Class 1 & 2 HGV tipper & concrete drivers, to operate from our site in Barrow in Furness, local tipper & concrete work delivering throughout South Cumbria / North Lancashire.

Additional Pay:
⭐ Bonus Scheme

Benefits:
⭐ Onsite Parking
⭐ Ongoing Driver CPC Training
⭐ Pension Scheme

Work Schedule:
⭐ Day Shifts
⭐ Monday to Friday (some Saturday work when required)

Must Have:
⭐ Valid Licence Category (C+E or C)
⭐ Digital Tachograph card & up to date DCPC qualification
⭐ Knowledge of Working Time Directives and Drivers' hours
⭐An understanding of the importance of Health and Safety in all that you do
⭐ Excellent time keeping skills
⭐ Ability to work alone and part of a team
⭐ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
⭐ Experience preferred
⭐ Full Induction and Training will be given

👏 A HUGE well done to George, who has successfully completed his HGV Class 1 qualification and is now a fully trained and competent HGV Driver. 👏

His training programme included the required medical assessment, theory examinations, and practical driving test, all of which he completed successfully.

This training was fully supported and funded by Burlington Aggregates reflecting our commitment to investing in our employees' development and ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of our business. 🎯

We are pleased to support colleagues in gaining new skills and qualifications that benefit both their personal career progression and the organisation as a whole.
