A customer came to us looking for a custom gripper capable of picking and placing a specific size of crate. We designed and machined a bespoke solution that bolts directly onto their existing OnRobot gripper head.

To make it even more versatile, the gripper plates can be adjusted to accommodate different crate designs, giving the customer greater flexibility for future applications.

As palletising and pick-and-place automation continues to grow across UK manufacturing, we're seeing increasing demand for bespoke end-of-arm tooling and custom gripper adaptations like this.

🛣️ Riding the Advanced Long Route, they covered an impressive 78 miles across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex, tackling 1,550m of elevation along the way.

👉 Their efforts helped raise awareness and support for St. Michael's Hospice, a vital charity providing free health, wellbeing and care services to people living with life-limiting illnesses across North Hampshire.
