A huge congratulations to Aleem on being named 2nd Stage Apprentice of the Year 2026 at West Lothian College (Official)

This award recognises the highest standard of achievement in both practical skills and theoretical knowledge during the first stage of apprenticeship training under the Scottish Joint Industry Board training scheme for electrical installation apprentices.

We are also proud that Sureserve Energy Services received a certificate from the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust in recognition of our support and training of Aleem throughout his apprenticeship journey.

A fantastic achievement and a reflection of Aleem’s hard work, dedication and commitment. Aleem has been working along side Stephen and Walter (Electrician and Electrical Supervisor), who presented Aleem with a brand new electrical drill.

We are proud to share that 13 members of our Scottish Retrofit team recently completed Elmhurst Energy's Damp and Mould Assessor Training, strengthening their expertise in identifying one of the most important issues affecting homes today.

Damp and mould are not just property issues. They can have a serious impact on health and wellbeing, contributing to respiratory conditions and creating unhealthy living environments. As the industry continues to evolve, having trained professionals who can identify risks early and support better housing outcomes has never been more important.

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Oak Tree Housing Association on a new long term investment programme focused on improving homes across Inverclyde.

Over the coming years, the programme will support the upgrade of 445 boilers and the installation of 587 new kitchens, helping to enhance comfort, efficiency and everyday living standards for residents.

The works will begin in June 2026 and continue through to March 2029, forming part of Oak Tree’s wider commitment to maintaining and improving its housing stock, while also supporting local communities through sustained investment.

We look forward to delivering this programme in partnership with Oak Tree Housing Association and contributing to long lasting improvements across the region.

Cavity Wall Insulation: Explained 👇
