Corton> Gemini silicon.

Just wrapped up this recent render project and I’ve got to say I’m seriously impressed with the results.

For this one, I used the new Gemini system from Atlas, and it’s a complete game changer. Unlike other products out there, this one comes with built in self cleaning properties… meaning no need for a seal coat afterwards. A cleaner finish with less maintenance win-win.

The customer wasn’t happy with the original render and wanted to give the property a fresh new look. We did have to remove the existing brick coins as they were unfortunately too uneven to keep, but the transformation speaks for itself and most importantly, the client is over the moon with the final result.

Beccles> plastering.

Really proud of how this fireplace project turned out for . I rendered and plastered the full surround to get a clean, solid finish, then designed and built a bespoke mantel piece to tie it all together.

The mantel has been crafted to mimic the look and feel of wood, but it’s actually made from a specialist plaster giving it that classic timber style while keeping everything seamless with the rest of the build.

Oulton broad> jub silicone.

Just wrapped up one of the toughest gable ends we’ve ever taken on down by the harbour in Oulton Broad.

This wall was a real monster, uneven, different backgrounds everywhere, and nothing running true. It was such a challenge that we even had to add horizontal bell beads to break up the depth and disguise the inconsistencies.

In short… we polished a turd but I couldn’t be prouder of the team. Their initiative, graft, and eye for detail turned a nightmare surface into a clean, sharp finish.

One of the most challenging jobs we’ve tackled, and definitely one of the most rewarding. Great effort all round! 💪

This property was a challenge we couldn’t pass up, half existing render, half block work, but with k-Rend Granite we’ve brought it all together 💪

Funny thing is, this wasn’t even in the diary… but when the opportunity came up, we made it work. No way we were going to let a project like this slip by.

Now the house has the crisp, modern look it deserves.

Another one wrapped up in Oulton Broad ✅

We used K-Rend Silicone TC15 in Linen for a clean, modern finish that really lifts the property. The customer was an ex-policeman, so let’s just say we made sure everything was by the book. 😂

We’re really happy with the end result and even better, it’s already led to more work on the estate. Always great to see happy customers turn into new opportunities!

One of our toughest jobs to date 💪

This project had it all.

80% of the work done off a scissor lift.

Shops below the flats staying open the whole time.

A render system that couldn’t be removed, meaning a fresh solution was needed.

The boys knuckled down, kept the public safe, shop owners happy, and morale high (evening beers helped 🍻

Big thanks to K Rend’s own Scott Daynes for coming up with the answer – mechanically fixing through the mesh to still secure that guarantee.

We were chosen for this one because, let’s face it, it was a complete nightmare job. When the client rang K Rend, they said we were probably the only firm mad enough to risk life and limb to deliver that finish and we did. 👊

Another job ticked off, another client happy. ✅

Instead of hacking off a perfectly good render (and risking unnecessary damage), we went straight over the old rough finish using a full K-rend Rend system. This allowed us to give the surface a fresh new look while keeping its strength intact.

We finished it off in a silicone colour Mink, leaving the property with a clean, modern and durable finish. 💪🏡
