End of an Era 🔋

Our last Tesla Powerwall 2 installs are now finished. It has been a journey since our first Powerwall 2 install in June 2017 💚

We will now be exclusively installing the Powerwall 3, and are booking site surveys for the new year.

Making the most of what you have 🌱

Our latest project has been upgrading an older Solar PV system installed in 2015.

A customer’s stable roof needed replacing and they were looking to give their existing solar panels some attention.

We recommended re-installing their panels with SolarEdge Technologies Inc. optimisers and inverter, to replace their ageing traditional string inverter set up. With a SolarEdge system they will benefit from:

☀️ Increased outputs (without affecting their existing FIT agreement)
☀️ Elimination of power losses (from shading and soiling from their existing boiler flue)
☀️ Reassurance of remote monitoring (to check system performance and receive notifications if issues arise)

Upgrades like these are a great way for early adopters of Solar PV to benefit from advances in technology without unnecessarily replacing working components. We are very happy with the result of this sustainable solution 💚

It was a cloudy start to November but the sun is shining now.

We are delighted with our latest installation in Thurleigh, a 6.72kW SolarEdge Technologies Inc. optimised system with REC Alpha Pure-R panels and 3. The addition of Solar PV will help power this family’s ASHP over the winter to make a more sustainable household ❄️💚

We are very happy with our first Powerwall 3 installed in Turvey, Beds this week🔋

It looks great and our customer now has a backup source of power during any outages.

In fact, our customer had several power cuts the day before our installation so it was a timely visit. With the Powerwall 3 they will have greater peace of mind and more energy independence.

A good result all round 🥳

Today we have been out at the Tesla Centre in Birmingham for the Powerwall 3 UK Roadshow. Great to see the team at Tesla Energy and we are even more excited now for our first Powerwall 3 install.

We also got a bonus mug for being one of the few installers of the Powerwall 1 at the event! We are very proud to have been installing the Powerwall since 2016, and are looking forward to this next stage. Onwards and upwards!

Even better still, the new units come in reusable packaging to reduce waste for a neat solution all round.

Solar Solutions 🌱

The owners of a 500 year old Grade II* listed building in Eversholt contacted us wanting to become more self sufficient and lower their environmental impact. Being a conservation area there were limits on where panels could be installed but the end result has been fantastic.

With the customer successfully applying for planning permission, we were able to install a 25.41kW SolarEdge Technologies Inc. optimised ground mounted system in an unused field on the property.

Using Renusol Europe GmbH ConSole+ ballasted mounting trays with the exceptional quality Meyer Burger panels (made in Europe with 100% renewable energy) and a , the Solar PV system has already saved 3000kg of carbon emissions since May this year!

This is the equivalent of 42,000km driven in an EV! 🚗

We are so pleased with the project and the on-going support of our customers. Together we make magic happen 🔮✨

We love to see this - our latest install at Roxton Village Hall has been practically self powered this week 💪

With REC Solar panels and a double Tesla Powerwall Battery Storage solution the hall has been almost exclusively running on solar energy, including their air conditioning! 🥳 The SolarEdge Technologies Inc. monitoring graph shows Monday to Friday this week and there has been almost no grid usage (in orange).

We still find it pretty fun to see how our customers benefit from Solar. What have you powered with Solar PV this week? ☀️😎
