We would like to wish the oldest member of our team a Happy 84th Birthday!
Mollie has been on many jobs, many house moves and lots of clients jobs.

Broke our hearts when she took herself off for a wander around Milton Keynes and ended up in a childrens playpark and then with the dog warden!

We think its only right that you now enjoy your retirement but we are sure you will still show your face!

We thought you would enjoy your birthday at your much loved place Box End Park where you enjoyed a lot of your time in your younger years!

Happy Monday to another start of the week!

Here we would just like to show you two other projects that we have recently started for 2 lovely families - they are both going to have the WOW factor to them once they are complete.

One is in Houghton Conquest where we will be opening up the the back of the house creating a lovely new kitchen/dining room area where they will be able to walk out of the bifolds onto a lovely new patio, again bringing the inside outside and the outside inside.

The other one is over in Woodend in Kempston Rural where we are going to be creating a new kitchen approximately 9.5m x 6m. This will be one nice large kitchen/dining room with a lovely snug corner - a place there where all their family and friends can be together at the same time and enjoy the space, and again enjoy the free flowing space and allowing to bring the inside outside and the outside inside with the bifolds on the back of the extension.
This wasn't the easiest of digs for the Dixon and Sons team as the foundations are 2m deep due to clay and trees at the rear of the property and ground levels were high so the dig off was a lot higher than normal and the team had to barrow it out.
So, I would like to thank the team once again for their tremendous effort.

Happy Friday All!

What a cracking day yesterday at Newmarket Races doing team building with some of the Dixon and Sons Team.
Thank you to all those that came.

Question is WHERE should the next TEAMBUILDING event be?

Also don’t forget to look at the last picture! What a lovely comment we woke up today from one of previous clients who has seen the progress of our own house and how it transformed. It shows credit to the team and what Dixon and Sons is all about.

Even if I do say so myself the team are smashing it!

What we have done in just 5 working days (a whole week) is a massive achievement - plus we have been working on 4 other projects.
- Knocked down the garage,
- Striped the complete house including all the woodwork, ceilings, pipework and electrics.
- Cleared the back, front and side gardens.
- Reduced down the back garden ready for landscaping.
- Reduced down the front garden ready for the new driveway.
- Dug over 50+metres of Strip foundations and had them passed from building control after 2.5 days of starting the project.
- Reduced down the oversite ready to start building it back up.

It was all systems go, go, go yesterday afternoon and the team is smashing it!
We started about 1.30pm and already in less than 24hrs we have:

- Demolished the garage
- Demolished the shed and the base
- Stripped out all the shrubs in the front and back garden
- Stripped all 3 bedrooms
- Stripped the family bathroom
- Stripped the kitchen
- Stripped the lounge and Dining room
- Removed the porch
- Started digging the new foundations for the extension
- Removed the front garden wall
- And started digging the new driveway

Plus we have been working on on 3 other projects this week!

Also, another client has just been awarded planning permission for a project that will start beginning of 2027! We helped them with transforming a couple of ideas on paper to the next step of architectural drawings and then to planning approval.
