Getting your boat ready for winter? Don’t forget your propeller!
It’s that time of year when many UK boaters are taking their boats out of the water for winter — and for some, it may be the first time you’ve seen your propeller all season.
Before you put your boat away, give your propeller a thorough inspection:
* Check it’s secure – make sure the propeller hasn’t become loose.
* Give it a clean – removing fouling and build-up will help ensure optimum performance.
* Look for damage – dents, bends or other damage can affect performance and should be checked by a professional.
