After the recent run of heatwaves, air conditioning might be looking a lot more appealing than it did a few months ago!

With the UK experiencing its fifth heatwave of 2026 and temperatures reaching 38.1°C, many of us have had a very real reminder of just how uncomfortable our homes can become when the heat sticks around.

If you’ve spent the last few weeks struggling with hot bedrooms, sleepless nights or a home that simply won’t cool down, you might be thinking, “Why didn’t we get air con sooner?”

Buut, is it worth getting just for the occasional heatwave?

Wow... what a busy Summer it's been for us so far here at D&G 🥵❄️

Following our last post about the team and how hard they've been at it during these crazy heatwaves, we wanted to say a BIG thank you to our loyal customers, and all the new faces who have chosen D&G for the first time.

We've have had our busiest few months to date so we want to give a shout out to those who's trusted in us and have also been patient along the way.

We know waiting isn’t always easy (especially when the temperatures are soaring), so we genuinely appreciate your understanding while we make sure every job is completed to the high standard we’re known for.

So here’s to our valued customers, plenty more of the nice weather, and just enough heat to keep us busy without completely melting...🥴🤪

A little appreciation post for the D&G team...

As you can imagine for an Air Con company, we've been busier than ever trying to get out to as many of you as possible during these crazy heatwaves.

To do so, the team has had to put in even more hard work than usual to help keep the homes cool and customers comfortable.

It hasn't been easy though, working through this heat and putting in even longer hours to get the job done.

Whilst Gary and the team are continuing to push on with the Peacocks project and making sure every deadline is met, Max and Craig have been doing a great job getting through all our domestic work.

So we want to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thanks to all of the team - for pushing through, working flat out and getting on with it without complaining (mostly... 😅).

Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed and we're incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Great work, lads! 💪

We love a delivery day!
