Peacocks Headquarters - our biggest project win to date 👊

It's safe to say we’re hugely proud to be a part of this job...

We’ve just started work on what’s officially the biggest project we’ve landed as a business, and we’re buzzing to finally get underway.

So what have we been asked to do? Replace the entire heating and cooling system throughout the Peacocks Headquarters building as part of a major upgrade programme.

The first phase has kicked off, with the old rooftop units coming out and brand-new Midea heat recovery units going in.

The weather definitely didn’t make life easy though. Strong winds kept everyone on their toes, but thanks to a great team effort, the lift went exactly to plan.

A massive shout out to Machinery Movements for helping make it happen, and to Chris Crozier at Midea Group for pulling out all the stops behind the scenes to make sure every unit arrived when it needed to.

A cracking start to what promises to be a landmark project for us and a project we’re really proud to be involved in. Plenty more updates to come over the next few months so stay tuned...

Last week the team swapped toolboxes for bandages and completed a day of first aid training.

Hopefully it’s knowledge they’ll never need to use, but it’s important to be prepared if and when it matters.

We've got some exciting news to share... we've added a new member to the team!

Please help us welcome Craig, who joins us from a construction background and was ready for a new opportunity and something that keeps him closer to home with his young family.

We’re so pleased to have him on board and look forward to seeing him get stuck in and bring his own experience to the team.

We've been busier than ever here at D&G, so it felt like the right time to bring in another pair of hands and keep building on the service and the expertise we're known for.
