Congratulations to our CEO, Gareth Loye, on being appointed President of the Construction Employers Federation (CEF). 👏

Having successfully served as Vice President, Gareth has now assumed the role of President, with the official handover taking place at the CEF's first-ever Annual Conference.

During the ceremony, members paid tribute to outgoing President Bryan Vaughan for his leadership and commitment over the past two years. The Federation also welcomed Janet Deane as Vice President, alongside five new members joining the Federation Council.

This appointment is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of Gareth's dedication to the construction and infrastructure industry. Through his leadership at M&M Contractors (Europe) Ltd & Mascott Construction and his wider contribution to the sector, Gareth continues to champion growth, innovation and the future of construction across Northern Ireland & beyond.

Really positive morning yesterday spent at the ‘Building Respect: Laying the Foundations for Change’ event alongside others from across Northern Ireland’s construction industry.

The session brought together key voices from across the sector to discuss the importance of respect, improving industry culture, encouraging inclusion and continuing to drive meaningful change throughout construction. Thank you to Construction Employers Federation , & for their collaborative approach & organising this impactful session!

Our team recently travelled to Finland 🇫🇮 to complete the Installation, Inspection & Maintenance training with the team at Kempower ⚡

At M&M Contractors, investing in our people is a key part of how we continue to deliver industry-leading EV infrastructure across the UK & Ireland. Training directly with manufacturers like Kempower gives our engineers valuable hands-on experience with the latest charging technology, strengthening our ability to install, commission and maintain high-power EV charging hubs to the highest standards.

It was a fantastic few days of learning, collaboration and technical training with a great group of people — a big thank you to the Kempower team for hosting.

One thing the team definitely learned… Finland doesn’t mess around when it comes to the cold ❄️🥶

-16°C made the trip even more memorable!
