We are proud in the last twelve months to have managed wind turbines that have produced 7,500 MWh of renewable energy. That’s not even including our solar or hydro power!

An interesting article published by the Irish Farmers Journal, highlights, that from January to December 2020, 49.2% of the total electricity consumed in NI was supplied by renewable resources. This shows an increase of 5.6% from the previous year!

Wind remains to produce the most renewable energy, but there has been an increase in biogas and biomass production.

Northern Ireland’s Department for the Economy’s latest figures show that nearly 50% of the country’s electricity usage came from renewable sources in 2020
