An eye-catcher in every respect, even on cloudy days. The OSA Goliath – since 2015 NOR Goliath and painted blue – is used worldwide for modification of platform and the construction of offshore wind farms. On board the Goliath class vessel is our MTC 78000 with a lifting capacity of up to 1,600 tonnes, as well as two smaller CBO 3600 as auxiliary cranes.

: Who knows the sister ship of the NOR Goliath with exactly the same cranes or has perhaps even spotted it?

One of our heavy lift cranes in precise operation on high seas - the 45000 with a lifting capacity of up to 1,500 tonnes. Truly a great beauty on the jack-up vessel "Vole au vent" of our customer Jan De Nul Group (Official). 😉

This amazing shot of Thialf's port side crane was taken during the vessel's ongoing A-frame modification project.

Thialf's cranes are being modified to unlock the Baltic Sea! The vessel's A-frames already have hingable corners that can accommodate an NOV custom-designed semi-permanent adjustment system. Using this system, we can lower Thialf's cranes and fold the A-frames to create a sufficient air gap when combined with ballasting between the vessel and the Storebaelt Bridge.
