Send us your application details and we will help assess the options.

Every day, we help engineers improve production processes and select materials for industrial applications.

That support can cover bonding, sealing, potting, encapsulation, coating, gasketing, dispensing and related process requirements.

For B2B customers, the value is often in the detail.

A product may look suitable on paper, then behave differently because of the substrate, surface condition, cure environment, bead size, equipment, line speed or storage conditions.

This is where technical conversation matters.

We work with customers to understand the problem, review the application and identify products and processes that fit the requirement.

Samples, trials, testing and practical discussions are part of that process.

If you are specifying a new material, replacing an existing product or trying to solve a production issue, contact us before it becomes a bigger problem.

Sensor and camera assemblies should not slow the line down

Commercial UAVs are increasingly built around the payload.

Thermal cameras for fire safety. LiDAR for surveying. High-resolution imaging for inspection. Stabilised cameras for TV and cinema. Specialist sensors for industrial monitoring.

These assemblies need accurate positioning, vibration resistance and environmental protection, but they also need to move through production quickly.

UV curing adhesives such as UV639 can help. Parts can be positioned, checked, then cured on demand in seconds with suitable UV or LED equipment. That can remove waiting time from camera windows, sensor covers, optical housings and clear plastic assemblies.

For UAV manufacturers, the production benefit is straightforward: align accurately, cure quickly, move to the next stage sooner.

Need to test a material before committing to production use?
Request product samples through TECHSiL: https://www.techsil.co.uk/services-we-offer

Send us the application, substrate and performance requirements.

No datasheet can replace a proper trial on your own part, process and equipment.

We can supply samples of various products so customers can test suitability before committing.

That gives engineering and production teams a chance to check the material against the real application.

Does it dispense cleanly?

Does it wet the surface properly?

Does it cure within the required window?

Does it work with the existing equipment?

Does it meet the performance requirement after handling, ageing, temperature or environmental exposure?

Sampling is especially useful where a material change affects production flow, operator handling, cure profile or final part performance.

Tell us what you are bonding, sealing, potting, coating or gasketing and we will help identify suitable options to test.

Send us the application details and we will help review the next step.

The right material choice starts with the application.

Substrates. Cure conditions. Surface preparation. Joint design. Dispensing method. Cycle time. Operator handling. Storage. Compliance.

All of it can affect whether an adhesive, sealant, tape or encapsulant performs in production.

Our sales team can visit site to view the process first hand and discuss practical options for the application.

We have experts located around the UK with knowledge across a wide range of industries and product types.

This is useful when a part is failing, a process is too slow, a current material is difficult to source, or a new design needs the right bonding, sealing, potting or protection route from the start.

Send us the application details and we will help you work through the technical requirements and the commercial realities.

Contact us to discuss your supply, stock or technical requirements.

Good supply is rarely just a transaction.

Manufacturers need products, advice, communication, lead time awareness and an understanding of what happens when a material is late, substituted or incorrectly specified.

We provide dedicated account management for customers who need a more structured supply and support relationship.

That means working with both customers and suppliers to create a flexible, efficient system tailored to the customer’s requirements.

For some customers, the priority is technical product selection.

For others, it is stock management, documentation, kitting, repacking, special packaging, delivery schedules or support across several sites.

The point is to make supply easier to manage and better matched to the way your business works.

If your adhesive, silicone, tape or dispensing supply has become too reactive, we can help you build a more reliable process.

Contact us before ordering temperature sensitive or hazardous materials.

Some materials need more than shelf space.

Storage conditions can affect shelf life, usability and product performance. That matters with specialist adhesives, silicones, resins, encapsulants and other chemistry used in technical manufacturing.

At TECHSiL, we have facilities for materials that require controlled conditions to preserve effective life and ensure goods are supplied in excellent condition.

Depending on the product, this can include frozen, chilled, heated or flameproof storage.

For manufacturing customers, this helps reduce risk before the material even reaches the line.

It also supports better stock planning where products have specific handling requirements, shelf life constraints or hazardous storage considerations.

If you are ordering temperature sensitive materials, the storage route should be part of the supply discussion.

Send us the product details and we will help check what the material needs.

Contact us with your approval, compliance or documentation requirements.

In regulated and high specification sectors, the product is only one part of the requirement.

Documentation matters. Traceability matters. Batch control matters. Supplier confidence matters.

At TECHSiL, materials are supplied with supporting documentation and complete traceability as standard practice.

We support high specification aerospace and defence products alongside a wide range of consumable items for applications where strict quality assurance is essential.

Our approvals include ISO 9001:2015, NATO CAGE Code U6533 and JOSCAR registration for aerospace and defence. We can also offer products with approvals and compliance routes such as UL approval, REACH, RoHS and FDA, depending on the product and requirement.

For buyers, engineers and quality teams, this gives a stronger starting point for controlled supply.

Tell us what documentation, approval or compliance route your project needs and we will help identify suitable materials.

Marine Building Myth: “Adhesives will not last in a marine environment”
Marine construction is definitely demanding. Salt water, vibration, movement, UV exposure, cleaning chemicals, temperature change and constant moisture all put pressure on the joint.

That is one of the strongest arguments for considering adhesives and tapes.

In many marine applications, the joint does not just need to hold two materials together. It needs to seal, isolate, dampen and protect.

Welding joins materials, but it does not seal the surrounding assembly.
Riveting fixes materials, but it creates holes that must then be sealed.
Adhesive bonding can join and seal in the same operation.

That can be especially useful where water ingress, galvanic corrosion or movement between materials is a concern.

Think about the number of marine assemblies where a fastener is installed, then a sealant is applied afterwards.

That extra step takes time.
It adds labour.
It introduces another point of failure.
It depends on the quality of the secondary sealing process.

A suitable adhesive or tape system can simplify the job.

With the right application, preparation, and on the right joint, bonding can reduce risk rather than increase it.

The marine environment is not a reason to dismiss adhesives.

It is often the reason to review where they should be used.

We would love to demonstrate the wide ranging applications that adhesives and tapes have in the marine industry, email us at [email protected] to find out more or click here: https://www.techsil.co.uk/marine

Send us your labelling, packaging or traceability requirements.

The right label saves time.

It helps stores identify the material quickly. It helps production confirm the correct product is being used. It helps quality teams manage batch control, traceability, expiry dates and customer-specific requirements.

We can offer bespoke labelling and barcoding systems set up around your exact requirements.

We can also support special packaging needs, including UV proof, anti-static and metallised materials where the product or process calls for it.

For hazardous materials, our trained team can also support compliant shipping requirements.

This service is useful for manufacturers who need more than a manufacturer’s standard label.

Internal part numbers. Customer references. Batch details. Barcodes. Kit labels. Handling instructions. Storage requirements.

If your materials need to move cleanly through goods-in, stores, production and despatch, packaging and labelling should be part of the specification.

Contact us with your forecast, usage pattern or annual demand.

Some materials cannot be managed properly with last minute ordering.

Specialist adhesives, silicones, tapes, encapsulants and related consumables often have lead times that need planning. Some materials can take 12 to 20 weeks to arrive from order, so production supply needs a more structured approach.

For larger accounts, we can support stock management based on annual demand forecasts.

This helps customers maintain supply over longer periods while keeping minimum stock levels at their own premises.

Forward orders and call-off arrangements can also help where production demand is known 6 to 12 months ahead.

For buyers, planners and manufacturing teams, this is about reducing avoidable supply pressure.

Better planning. Clearer demand. Fewer urgent substitutions. More control over production continuity.

If your materials are critical to the build, we can help you plan supply around the way your business actually operates.
