Today is Vocational Celebration Day - shining a light on the practical pathways that shape the future of engineering.

At adi Group, our Apprentice Academy and Pre‑Apprenticeship Programme give young people real experience, real skills and real opportunities to grow.

Many of our engineers began their journey through hands‑on training, and these routes continue to strengthen the capability we deliver across the UK.

We’re committed to developing vocational talent and supporting the next generation of engineers.

Last night, adi Intelligent Buildings MD Dave Barnes, Callum Brooks, and Sam Heath attended the Distech Controls Connect26 event a prestigious European event held once every two years and we are delighted to announce that adi Intelligent Buildings received the Special Projects Award for our project at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. 🏆

Dave Barnes also wanted to extend a special thank you to Martyn Turner, who unfortunately couldn’t attend the evening event, but whose contribution has been instrumental to the project and its ongoing success.

A fantastic achievement and a true testament to the hard work, innovation, and dedication of the entire team involved.
