On the River Wreake in Leicestershire, we have erected a designed 20 Metre Spanning bridge to allow for maintenance on the bridge and pipework.

This week in Blakeney, we responded to an emergency callout to give safe access to repair the lids on a conveyor. Due to the screw conveyors being built coming out of the ground a drop lift scaffold was built to allow access whilst also allowing the screws to be tested without the scaffold causing any obstruction.

All of our scaffolds are built under TG20:21 Guidelines, unless a designed drawing and calculations are required. Here at Safeway we have an independent designer for all design drawing requirements.

In Llanidloes, we have provided safe access to the valves in a reservoir. The original walkway of this bridge was condemned due to rotting wood so we have built a scaffold off the original steels of the bridge to provide a walkway to the centre of the reservoir for personnel. Due to the area this reservoir was located in, getting a truck to the area wasn't possible so we used tractor and trailer to get all our materials to the area so work could commence.
