“It might not be relatable to everyone, but I miss soil! Before I became ill, I was studying Environmental Science. Specifically, I was researching soil health to help plants grow. I became disabled partway through my third year at university, and sadly had to pause studying what I love. I desperately miss being able to go to the lab, pop my goggles on, and make a tiny difference in science. Getting to lectures, labs, and libraries with my condition has been impossible, which means finishing my degree is too - for now! So if I didn’t have to plan around my mobility, I’d have the chance to study, socialise, and hopefully graduate 🎓🌱”

Let’s start with what isn’t covered.

Our 12-month warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults. Everyday wear and cosmetic damage are different, including worn tyres, padding, grips and scratches.

Batteries follow the same distinction: a manufacturing fault is covered; gradually holding less charge through daily use is normal wear.

For covered faults, you pay nothing for parts or labour.

Three days after receiving her Freedom Pro ST, Simone was still nervous about taking it outside.

Then her partner Drew said, “Come on,” and they headed to a nearby field with their new dog.

Partway up the hill, Simone and Drew held hands on a walk for the first time in four years.

“I feel free. I feel like I have a life again. I just feel in control and safe. That is really important because I suffer with tremors and seizures.”

Simone told us that when she lets go of the joystick, even on a hill, the chair simply stops. That feeling of safety allowed her to relax and enjoy the moment rather than just get through it.

This is more than getting from one place to another. It’s about getting moments of your life back. 💙
