Our sub-contractor took a 20year old Vaillant ecoMAX combi out for a Landlord in a maisonette property in Chelmsley wood recently. Landlord needed something cost effective. So we fitted a new Glow Worm Compact 28c AS/1 together with a stand off bracket to run gas and heating pipes behind it due to space availability and a Vertical flue complete with a 5 year manufacturer warranty, also installed an Esi wireless programmable room thermostat, Plumbright 22mm magnetic filter, shock arrestor and flushed heating system. All goods supplied by City Plumbing UK Minworth.

21 year old Vaillant ecoTEC Plus out in Olton, Solihull. Called out to a fault , found side panel chamber seals had failed whilst checking a reported fault (side panels non-removable), if it wasn't for this, the boiler would have soldiered on..... Customer opted for a new boiler...Fitted a new Vaillant ecoFIT Pure 830, horizontal flue, Vaillant magnetic filter and a Vaillant sensoHOME... Both boiler and sensoHOME came with a 10year warranty. Gas supply pipe upgraded to 28mm from meter too in order to obtain correct working gas pressures etc.... (NOTE: before anyone asks, there is more than the required clearance between soffits/eaves to flue terminal... All goods supplied by City Plumbing UK Minworth!!

Another boiler change completed in Rubery, Birmingham and flushed out using the Magnacleanse process. Vaillant ecoTEC Pro out and a Baxi Combi² 830 in, controlled by Tado smart thermostat and radiator smart TRVs, complete with an Adey magnetic filter, Boilermag water softener, shock arrestor and 10 year warranty. Also, upgraded gas pipework from meter to 28mm. All goods supplied by City Plumbing UK Minworth! (PS. Yes, the lid can be fully removed from magnetic filter, checked this before hand, photo angle makes it look tight).
