Preserving Victorian Heritage.

We recently completed scaffolding work at the historic Moorgate Primary School in Tamworth, a locally listed Victorian building dating back to 1898.

Working with Local Weather Shield Ltd, we provided specialist access for essential restoration including roof repairs, chimney work, and belltower conservation.

Heritage buildings require a different approach, with every scaffold component positioned to respect the building's historical character.

It's rewarding to support projects that preserve these irreplaceable pieces of our architectural heritage for future generations.

We were delighted to support the first ever CotonFest, a new festival organised and hosted by Coton Green FC , by erecting the stage which featured some fantastic local acts. It was a great day, well done to all who made it happen. We look forward to the next one!

We were delighted to welcome staff and pupils from Fazeley Pre-School recently for a look around the yard and at our various vehicles, and find out how a busy scaffolding yard works.

They also saw our garage, Anton Automotive, and were given a treat from The Sawmill Servery!

Meet Ellis and Kayne, Anton Scaffoldings newest apprentices.

The two siblings have been with the firm for just over 6 months now and have adapted quickly to the team ethos. Under the guidance of Brandon, our Yard Manager, the two lads are being educated on all scaffolding materials and general yard duties in preparation for when they go out on site.

At Anton, we firmly believe in bringing young people through the correct process, giving them the skills and knowledge to make the transition to site much smoother.

A significant challenge in the industry today is that apprentices are being rushed onto site because of a labor shortage. This often leads to a lack of proper understanding and knowledge, which contributes to many apprentices leaving the industry.

Our goal is to highlight the positive aspects of the industry, provide education, and support apprentices as they grow into fully competent and qualified scaffolders.

The Anton Scaffolding team has been busy on a variety of projects this past week. We always aim to provide the highest quality of work whilst remaining within the strictest of safety measures.

We believe that diversifying our work helps maintain the highest possible standards for our team.

We have some exciting work to share with you in the coming weeks, along with a celebrating our 10-year anniversary. We'll be posting a variety of content that highlights Anton's history and how we've reached where we are today.
