This stunning BMW M8 rolled into MSL Performance ready to unlock its true potential.To get those massive gains, we didn't hold back.

We executed a flawless ECU unlock before supplying and fitting a high-flow decat downpipe and midpipe setup, letting that twin-turbo V8 finally breathe—and roar.

Next up, it hit the rollers for a meticulous custom ECU calibration paired with a custom Gearbox map to ensure lightning-fast shifts and optimal power delivery.

The transformation is absolutely mind-blowing. Check the numbers: 📈

First race events of the year for the MSL Performance McLaren 720S development car at Kendrew Barracks — and it delivered.

Saturday at :
🥇 1st Overall — 1/2 Mile — 189 MPH
🥇 1st Overall — 1 Mile — 219 MPH

Sunday at against some serious 2,000+ HP machinery:
🏁 4th Overall — 1/2 Mile — 192 MPH
🏁 3rd Overall / 2nd in Class — 1 Mile — 222.7 MPH

To our knowledge, this is now the fastest stock-turbo car to compete at both events across both distances.

What makes it even crazier? The car was only finished and mapped by from days before the event with zero real-world testing.

Dave's C63 returned to us after a dealer software update wiped out his Stage 2 calibration
- a common issue when factory systems overwrite modified ECU data.

We reinstated the full Stage 2 package, recalibrating boost control, ignition timing, fueling, and torque mapping to extract maximum performance while maintaining engine safety parameters. With everything dialled in, we pushed it further than before.

Final figures: 547 BHP, sharper throttle response, increased mid-range torque, and a significantly more aggressive exhaust note under load.

This is how the C63 should have left the factory.

CLS 55 Power Upgrades at MSL Performance, While the exterior was screaming for a bucket and sponge, the engine was screaming for more boost.

Here is how we turned this diamond in the rough into a certified beast 💪

​Custom Stage 1 ECU Remap:

We optimized the fuel maps, ignition timing, and boost parameters.

The M113K engine is a legend for a reason, and we’ve just woken up the beast inside.

​TCU Transmission Tune:

To match the new engine output, we sharpened up the gear changes. It now shifts faster and smoother than ever before.

​The Dyno Package:

Every pony was accounted for... We strapped it down to our state-of-the-art dyno to ensure the power delivery is as smooth as the paintwork 🙄🙄

Now running 667bhp & 750 ft lb torque 🚀

As arrived, the S63 AMG produced 623 BHP / 728 lb-ft.

Following our Stage 2 upgrade, output increased to an impressive 712 BHP / 845 lb-ft, delivering massive gains in torque, sharper throttle response, and effortless acceleration—all while retaining OEM refinement.
