Steel-Beams Great Barr Project

It's always an essential staging in the project when we have finished installing all of the structural beams at ground floor level. The steel beams are pretty tricky to install as they are obviously cumbersome and heavy, and it takes a lot of skill to manoeuvre and place the beams accurately without causing serious damage to the main building.

You will notice that the beams have been placed flush with the ground floor ceiling. This allows a flat finish as the ceiling runs from the existing structure into the new extension area. The steel beams remain hidden from view after completion.

We recently designed a new Orangery/Conservatory for a project in the Wolverhampton area.

Hopefully we will be soon starting this project shortly now that the coronavirus lockdown is easing up.

New Orangery: Walsall area- Mellish Road

Proposed designs and preliminary sketches for a new Orangery in a property in Walsall. The proposed design includes opening-up the original kitchen and redesigning a more open kitchen layout which will include breakfast bar, dining area and Orangery lounge.

The new Orangery rear extension has been designed around an enclosed patio area with the idea of creating an enclosed glazed courtyard area which will be incorporated into the design to create an internal and external living space as part of the development.

I hope you enjoy the design and layout. The proposals now in planning and should be passed within the next few weeks.

Greenland Road is progressing well with the structure soon to be at Joist-height. Block beam floor next phase of works.

New house at Greenland Road is taking shape. Matt and the team are doing a great job and the house is starting to look like a house.

The footprint of the house is looking great and starting to reveal how the house will look and feel. I have loved designing this house and it very satisfying to be involved in its development.
