The transition to chrome-free coating systems is no longer theoretical ā€” itā€™s a technical challenge the industry is actively working through.
In high-temperature aerospace applications, the difficulty has always been maintaining corrosion resistance and coating integrity without relying on hexavalent chrome systems.

At Indestructible Paint, weā€™ve been developing chrome-free solutions such as CFIPAL and CFIPCOTE to address this directly.

CFIPAL is designed for high-temperature environments, providing oxidation and corrosion resistance on aero engine components while maintaining stability under cyclic thermal loading.

Indestructible Paint are very proud to have supported Birmingham Tree People, two local primary schools, and Friends of Percy Road Park in planting 2 alder trees and 3 birch trees in Percy Road Park šŸŒ³
The alder trees were specifically selected to be planted by the River Cole, which the park and our Indestructible Paint premises back onto, as they help with flood prevention and support the local environment.
A great community effort helping to create a greener, healthier space for everyone to enjoy ā€” and a big thank you to everyone involved.
