We hope all of our clients and staff alike have had a wonderful Christmas! 🎄

As part of our charity work we donated chocolate selection boxes to a local swimming club, with three of their members being children of our colleagues here! We hope they enjoyed eating those!🍫

Here at John Warren ABP we are looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver! 🚛🚛

As a member of our team you will be collecting fallen stock animals from farms throughout the North East and bringing them back to our facility for processing.

We are looking for applicants that:
- Have a Class 2 driving licence, digicard and full CPC
- Represent our business in a smart and presentable manner with excellent customer service skills
- Are able to complete the basic paperwork required.
- Are able to carry out physical work.

Hours are 50-55 hours per week between approx 7am-6pm

Monday-Saturday (weekend work on a rota system). Overtime after 40 hours.

This morning Sara Cox arrived in our local village Hamsterley as part of her 135 miles on foot, raising money for Children in Need. Chris, our transport manager, popped into the village to support her and cheer her on! With all the hills in our area today seems to be a struggle for her and we hope she’ll have a good rest soon!

Sarah started her journey in Kielder Forest 🌲and will end her journey in Pudsey, Leeds near our parent company sites for J G Pears on Friday!

We wish her luck on her journey!

April is Stress Awareness Month and most people will be unaware that preventing work-related stress, depression and anxiety is a legal duty. It’s also good for business and is the right thing to do!

With lambing time having definitely kicked in here at John Warren ABP we are weathering our busiest period of the year 🐑 and both our office staff and drivers are all putting in the extra hours to ensure we keep our excellent service and customer satisfaction levels at their usual high.

Our team hasn't let the extra pressure stop them with a total of only 6 sick days🤧 taken this year so far!

If any of our staff or clients are feeling the weight of this time of year, our door is always open for a chat and Chris and Katie are both trained Mental Health First Aiders. The kettle can always be on and the biscuit tin full!

Birthday Celebrations here at John Warrens!!🥳🎂

We have had a busy week of birthdays in the office this week, with two big birthdays for Scott Durham,our financial controller and John Akers, one of our drivers, turning 50! We also had birthdays for Katie our manager and Jonny Birch another of our drivers! 🚛

Pictured is Scott receiving his very well deserved hamper, he might keep himself tucked away upstairs but he is a vital part of our team and is always solving any problems in the office aswell as being our go to for IT struggles! 💻
