🔩 Behind the scenes: From concept to finished product! 🏗️

Ever wondered what goes into getting a product ready for manufacture? 👀

For the majority of our projects, we use TEKLA Structures, one of the leading software packages for detailing steelwork. 💻📐

In this video, you can see us finishing the detailing of a steel feed trough, with the folded plates and end pieces being added to the 3D model. 🔧

Once the product has been fully detailed, we can quickly and accurately generate:

📋 Material lists for ordering the raw steel
⚙️ Processing information for manufacturing
💾 NC data for automated machinery
📐 Detailed drawings for production

This digital workflow helps us take a product from design ➡️ detailing ➡️ manufacture, making the whole process more accurate and efficient. 🚀

A lot of work happens behind the scenes before material even reaches the workshop! 👏

A little view from the inside of the Roundhouse 30 we have made and installed internals for. Our biggest job yet!

Now that the show has aired we can share this job… At the end of march we installed over 70 gates, water troughs and socketed post to the new 30 metre roundhouse at cannon hall.

Everyone involved put a monumental amount of effort in with early starts and late finishes to get the job complete in time for the sheep to come in.

We even had a little appearance on springtime on the farm!

This job was the biggest one to date but is just the beginning. This year has already been great but we have some incredible jobs lined up which will make 2026 our best year yet! Can’t wait to show what the future holds!
