It’s been another busy year at Charles Henry and Sons, and we feel fortunate as a company to be able to support others in less fortunate circumstances. 🫶

Therefore, this year we are supporting Leicester Hospitals Charity with their hashtag . They are committed to creating a magical Christmas for children receiving treatment over the festive period in hospital, by ensuring all children wake up to a gift from Santa on Christmas morning. 🎅 🎁

This charity is very close to our hearts, and we hope by donating this helps to create a sprinkle of magic to a child’s Christmas. 💝

Today was a sad day for our Company as we bid farewell to one of our lads..Stuart Marshall…Stu had been a part of the Henry Team for 17 years. He was a well respected, loyal and dedicated employee who could always be relied upon to carry out his work to the highest standards…He was a good friend to everyone here and will be sadly missed by all of us…RIP Stu ❤️

A big thank you to all the lads that showed their respect yesterday and to all the business for your support for not only yesterday but your support at work while the family are going through this difficult time. Our dad would be so proud of you all supporting us and knowing we will continue working hard and standing together to continue his legacy with pride as not only was he our dad but the boss and a legend Without him none of us would have had this opportunity .. We are thankfully as I’m sure you are too .. Also a big thank you to our clients that have supported and as my dad always said we will continue to give you our best attention at all times . X

It is with great Sorrow that we announce the death of “Our Boss” Mr Charles Henry Snr at the grand age of 91 Years.

Charlie passed away peacefully on Monday Evening 7th December. His Funeral will take place on Saturday 19th December at St Michael and all angels Church Cosby at 9am...Followed by Private Cremation at Countesthorpe Crematorium at 10am. Due to the circumstances that we find ourselves in at present unfortunately it will only be close family members that will be able to attend the Church and the Crematorium.

We would very much like to hold a memorial service for Charlie at a later date (to be arranged) and give his many friends and colleagues the opportunity to gather , share their stories and give Charlie the send off he deserved.

He was a friend to everyone he met and a source of inspiration for all who knew him and will be greatly missed by everyone here at Charles Henry & Sons Ltd.

Lastly we would invite you to raise a glass at home on Saturday 19th December in his memory. His preferred tipple was a Jameson’s but he would never object to a glass of Sauvignon.
