It was a pleasure to host Year 11 students from Park Community Academy at our Stables redevelopment project and give them the opportunity to become part of its lasting legacy.

During their visit, the students contributed to a commemorative time capsule, filling it with items and messages that capture this moment in time. The capsule will be incorporated into the completed building, creating a lasting connection between today's students and future generations. 📦✨

We are passionate about involving young people in projects that support their school, and it was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and creativity they brought to the experience.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the visit such a success. We're excited to continue progressing the redevelopment and look forward to sharing the finished transformation in the months ahead. 🏗️

From the structural framework to the fine detailing, every stage reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship.

It’s always rewarding to see a project come together from drawing and design to raw materials to a finished installation — and we can’t wait to show you the final result 👀

Continued progress at Park Community Academy Blackpool! 🏗️

We are making fantastic strides on site, with the new structural framework now taking shape. From the installation of floor joists and steelwork to the formation of new internal spaces, the transformation is well underway.

Key highlights🔨 :
• Structural steel beams installed to support new layouts and external blockwork
• Timber floor and joists progressing across multiple areas
• Internal reconfiguration opening up brighter, more functional spaces
• Safe and efficient site setup with scaffolding and access in place

It’s great to see the vision starting to come together, and we’re excited to keep pushing forward in the coming weeks.

Last Friday, our incredible team of 6 from Singleton & Smart took part in the in Blackpool in support of Streetlife

Braving the cold for just one night was a powerful reminder of the challenges many young people face every day. We’re especially proud of Thomas, aged just 14, who showed amazing resilience and compassion throughout the experience 👏

This cause means so much, and we’re grateful to be part of raising awareness and support for vulnerable young people facing homelessness.

On Friday 17 April 2026, a team of six from Singleton & Smart will once again be taking part in the Big Sleep Out to raise much-needed funds for StreetLife.

StreetLife does incredible work supporting vulnerable and homeless young people, and this event helps ensure they can continue providing safe accommodation and vital support services.

Completion of our latest project for Danfo at Clayhall Park, Ilford.

The scope of works comprised a full strip-out of the existing WC facilities down to shell, followed by extensive builder’s works. This included the formation of new structural openings, installation of new below-ground drainage runs, and all associated enabling works.

Internal reconfiguration was undertaken to form new WC cubicles, including the installation of new cubicle systems and associated doorsets. Wallgate systems were installed in line with specification, alongside Perla Board wall linings to provide a robust, hygienic, and compliant finish.

Additional works included the construction of a new DDA-compliant access ramp, full tiling package, and complete decoration throughout.

The project was delivered to a high technical standard, ensuring durability, compliance, and long-term performance.
