This morning, it was the coffee walk, and the wellbeing team were pleased to let everyone know that it will be a monthly thing moving forward🚶‍♀️☕🚶

It’s a chance for the team to step away from the desk, get some fresh air, and start the day getting some steps in whilst having a catch-up. Along the way, everyone spoke about what they're most excited for this summer ☀️

The wellbeing team introduced a Step Challenge for to get involved in throughout May 👣

It’s a simple idea, but an important one which aligns nicely with and improving overall wellbeing. The NHS says physical activity can improve mood, boost energy, and help reduce stress and anxiety.

Now at the halfway point, the team has already racked up an impressive 3.2 million steps. It’s been great to see the effort across the business. A special mention to last year’s winner, Rob Davies, who is currently leading the way with just shy of 400,000 steps.

This morning, it was the return of the Trident Bake Off 🧁🧑‍🍳

didn’t disappoint and brought in a wide array of sweet and savoury treats for everyone to indulge in. The bake off this time round was to support Lancashire Mind, and those who tucked in were asked to make a small donation to help support the work Lancashire Mind does.

So all in all, it was a huge success and a big thanks to those who spent time baking and those who donated to support such a great charity!

On behalf of , we would all like to wish Michael Dugdale the best of luck as he takes on the London Marathon this Sunday 🏃‍♂️

Mick has been raising money for the Wooden Spoon Charity and has smashed his fundraising target. The charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people living with disabilities and those who are disengaged from society.

All the hard work that’s gone into raising money for such a great cause, along with the training for Sunday, will certainly pay off. The team are confident he’ll smash his marathon target.
