We were delighted to welcome our new knights_brown apprentices during their induction week.

The week provided a fantastic introduction to the apprenticeship programme, giving our new starters the opportunity to meet the wider cohort, gain their CSCS cards, and build the essential knowledge and confidence needed before heading onto site for the first time.

Investing in future talent is an important part of who we are, and we are excited to support our new starters as they begin this next chapter of their professional journey.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to welcome local school pupils, Scout groups, and students from a special educational needs school to our Academy to share more about the construction industry and the many pathways it offers

Engaging with young people and introducing them to the pathways available within the industry is an important way of raising awareness of the many roles that exist beyond what people may traditionally associate with construction.

Seeing such strong engagement reinforces the importance of connecting with young people, being inclusive and offering hands on sessions.
