To say I was outwith my comfort zone is a complete understatement, I was completely ‘bricking it’, nervous as get out and petrified of how I would come across.
I did something along the same lines a couple of years ago, however back then I was in my own office and did it over ‘Face time’.
This was a whole different ball game. Lots of people in a professional recording room, cameras galore and lots of bright lights…and a barrage of questions.
All very professional and completely alien to me.
I think I consumed multiple black coffees prior to it, coupled with breathing control and marks on my palms after we had finished because I was sitting drilling my nails into my hands under the desk!
However, I did it and I’m pleased I did!
I suppose it made me realise that even though I was way outside my comfort zone I can achieve things no matter how scary. Just dig in and get it done! Lx
