This week we carried out a live demonstration on a working ship, 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮, while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

For added protection, the deck levelling undulation infilling system forms the base layer, which is strengthened further with Cactus PMMA-Based Waterproofing system. This is followed by a minimum 4–12 mm layer of self-leveller, which may be left as applied or blinded out as required, and finally finished with a PMMA-Based Top Coat.

This week, Cactus Industrial is in attendance at DSEI UK – the UK’s flagship event for the global defence industry.

Welcoming over 45,000 attendees from around the world at the Excel in London, Cactus took the opportunity to introduce our technologies to clients in the Navy and the Army.

Cactus’ new cordless airless paint sprayer just passed rigorous testing by one of the world’s leading coatings manufacturers.

Jotun Paints tested:

✅ Jotun Conseal Touch Up: 42% Solids @ 75 microns DFT
And
✅ Jotun Hardtop XP: 63% solids @ 60 microns DFT

on our battery-operated spray application system.

With a working pressure of 2175psi and 150bar, it’s a high performance, time-saving way of applying domestic and commercial paints, holding coatings and primers, and low-solids top coats.

Machine is 500 watt, running from an 18V 5.2amp battery.

Tested to UKCA standard. Remove Intertek certificate

And Jotun’s results for the Airless Sprayer testing were…
