Project Completed

After several weeks of hard work, we’re pleased to have completed this project and brought the property back up to a high standard.

The scope of works included:

• Removal of over 15,000 plain tiles, replaced with A-grade Spanish slate
• Replacement of 3 Velux windows, including new flashing kits
• Renewal of 3 lead dormer roofs
• Fibreglassing of 2 balconies

A substantial amount of time, skill and effort has gone into this project, and we’re extremely pleased with the finished result.

Another one stripped back and built properly. 💪🔨

This roof had the full treatment:

✅ Stripped and renewed in Brazilian Graphite slate
✅ New roof timbers throughout
✅ New fascias and guttering fitted
✅ Chimney rebuilt
✅ New framework fabricated on the vertical panels to carry the slate hanging properly

🏠 Another roof completed in Delabole! 🏠

It’s always a pleasure working in this lovely village, and we’re finding ourselves back here more and more often.

This project involved stripping the roof back and uncovering a ridge line and rafters that were far from level. To put things right, we installed a new ridge beam and replaced rafters where required.

Working with a curved wall plate presented its own challenges, but we successfully overcame the change in pitch with a neat and seamless slating transition.

For insulation, we used Actis Boost thermal felt rather than PIR insulation between the rafters, as the existing rafters were only 2x2.

The roof was then finished with premium Brazilian Graphite 20x10 slates and a breathable ridge system to ensure adequate airflow and long-term performance.

Finishing touches complete on one of our recent projects.

We had to wait for the false chimneys to be fabricated and installed before we could fully complete the job, but we’re delighted with the finished result. The extra detail has really helped bring the whole project together.

🏠 Complete Roof Replacement Completed in Redruth 🏠

Another fantastic transformation completed by the team!

We removed the old small Delabole slates and replaced them with Brazilian Graphite slates, giving this property a smart, modern finish that will stand the test of time.

To complete the look, we also installed brand-new white uPVC fascias and soffits, along with black guttering, which really sets the roof off and adds to the property’s appeal.

New job ticked off the list.

Replaced the whole roof with Brazilian graphites.

Changed existing fascia and soffits with new replacement fascia and 9mm flat board soffit.

Replaced the guttering with deepflow gutters to the whole exterior of the house and flat roof.

Satisfied with this job completed quickly and to a brilliant standard once again.
We had to remove a disused chimney that was leaking and fitted all new materials however staying like for like with the old roof.
