New project car started after it's sat in my garage for well over a year. This is my friend's car which he purchased from Italy after it had seen a house fire. Surprisingly most of the car survived. It's lost a wheel and tyre, the roll cage and side bars, gear cover and all 4 rear trailing arms. The rest is intact including the gearbox which is in surprisingly good condition.

The intention is to model all the plastic parts up to make a reliable car for the track, and to make the gearbox reliable. First purchase today was a set of new shocks for the front as they were missing.

Keep forgetting about this. Don't know how after the number of hours that went into drawing it. Maybe I want to forget it because it was painful. 😄

Anyway, long belt cover for the XX4. It still needs a trial fit, but the final price will be £35.

A very successful weekend and the best the car has ever gone. Luckily Chris Ely rapidly withdrew his commentators curse in the final as the car hit the same hole as yesterday and started to go up on 2 wheels, but dropped back onto all 4 to make the corner.

James Edward Hodgson has hit in a great formula for the Vintage class with limited mods allowed and a control motor with the 15 turn Core RC silver can. Plenty fast enough and we were all so close for straight line speed.
