💙 It’s National Apprenticeship Week and today we’re showing some love to our Graduate Apprentices!

Over the years, we’ve had incredible apprentices—dedicated, hardworking, and ambitious individuals who have built successful careers with us. Many have progressed into specialist roles, and some are on the pathway to leadership.

📌 Proud stats:
🎉 23 apprentices have graduated and are still part of the Aptus team
🎉 14 have over 5 years’ service
🎉 Our longest-serving former apprentice celebrates 11 years with Aptus this year!

Two of our graduates, Lewis and Ethan, are proof that Aptus apprenticeships open doors to exciting careers—even though they joined through very different routes.

🚀 Lewis started as a business administration apprentice and built a career in water design. Now, he’s expanding into electrical design with firm aspirations to progress to a leadership position. 👏 Shoutout to Our Terrific T Level Students! 👏

It’s National Apprenticeship Week, but we’re also celebrating our amazing T Level students who have been supporting us while on placement at Aptus! 🎉

So far, we’ve welcomed five T Level students, helping them gain real industry skills that can lead directly to employment. A great example is Trainee AutoCAD Technician, Tom Daly, who joined us from Bolton College whilst working towards a T Level in mechanical engineering.

🗯️ Tom said: “The CAD training I received in the classroom gave me a foundation to build on in the design team. I wouldn’t have secured my current role without taking the T Level route.”

📌 Civil engineering students Tommy Maye & Ben McKay from Wigan & Leigh College are gaining experience in our CAD & Design departments:
✅ Tommy said "the work experience is a great addition to my CV" and will help him decide whether to continue studying or start a career.
✅ Ben commented: "I had no idea about the variety of job roles before I came to Aptus, and I’m excited about the opportunities this placement could lead to."

We’ve also welcomed our first Finance T Level student, Joshua, who recently completed his placement with us.🙌

None of this would be possible without strong partnerships with learning providers like Wigan & Leigh College who have supported us with nine apprenticeships and three T Level industry placements.

🎓 Apprenticeships Are for Everyone: Meet Jessica! 📸

With a degree in Commercial Photography, Jessica joined Aptus to pursue a Business Administration Apprenticeship, recognising the value it could bring to her future career.

📑 Through her apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with Wigan & Leigh College, she is gaining a strong foundation in administration, as well as confidence in professional communication—skills that will benefit her in a variety of roles moving forward.

We’re thrilled to have Jessica as part of the Aptus team and look forward to seeing her continue to grow! 🚀

HR Apprentice Millie has been with Aptus for 12 months and is nearing the completion of her HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship. During her progression, she has gained valuable hands-on experience, developed key HR skills, and grown in confidence—all while working towards a qualification.

Now, as she looks ahead, Millie is excited about the future and eager to continue her professional development with further qualifications. 📚✨
