Aero Friedrichshafen 9-12 April 2025

Robin aircraft by CEAPR will be on Stand 405 in Hall A4 of the exhibition, where we shall once again be supporting the team from the workshops in France.

There will be two Robin aircraft on the stand, one of which will have a surprise under the cowling and our DR401 155CDI will be outside on static display.

CEAPR personnel and ourselves will be on hand to answer questions and show you around the aeroplanes and we should very much enjoy welcoming you there.

Aero Friedrichshafen is the only comprehensive GA event in the calendar.

Located on the shore of the picturesque Lake Constance, Friedrichshafen airport (EDNY) has passport control, so you can fly direct from the UK and landing slots are now available for booking. Alternatively, there are several other airfields nearby or visitors can fly to Zurich airport and hire a car or take the train.

The exhibition area is on the south east side of the airport and is huge, so you will want to stay a few days if you are to take it all in.

Plentiful accommodation is available If you book early, including within walking distance of the exhibition, and car hire is available at the airport terminal.

On December 1st, CEAPR re-hired half of the staff from the Robin Aircraft company and have resumed production of new DR401 and re-manufactured Robin and CAP aircraft at Darois in France. Orders are being taken with a one-year lead time to delivery for a new Robin DR401 aeroplane.

R&D, parts supply and Airworthiness services are completely unaffected and continue as usual.

CEAPR has been operating for over sixty years. Its core business is design and approvals, parts manufacture and maintenance. CEAPR owns the land and the buildings at its facility in Darois, as well as the Robin and CAP Type Certificates and the Robin Aircraft name. CEAPR have APDOA, Part CAO, Part 21G and it makes or buys all of the components for Robin and CAP aircraft.

Robin Aircraft are hosting a Fly'in at the workshops at Darois, LFGI, from 10:00 to 17:00 Central European time (08:00 to 15:00 UTC) on Saturday 8th October.

Workshop tours: Enjoy a guided tour around the workshops, taking in all elements of the build: carpentry, metalwork, saddlery, painting, electrics and final assembly;
Information booth: Get answers to your questions on R&D, airworthiness, customised design, financing and more;
Garmin on-site: Come and meet the Garmin team. Discover the latest avionics equipment available for the DR401 now and coming soon;

Lunch: A local lunch will be offered between 12:00 and 14:30 (€20 per person). An opportunity both to have discussions with the team and enjoy the cuisine of Burgundy!

There are no landing or parking fees at LFGI and there is self-service fuel (100LL and Jet A-1) that can be paid for by credit card.
