Job description
T&B Containers Ltd are one of the country's leading Packaging and Recycling Specialists offering a vast range of packaging and recycling solutions. Due to growth, we require a Customer Service Executive to work in our busy sales office to support our existing sales team.

Main Duties and responsibilities:
To work as part of an existing sales team, assisting the account managers with all aspects of sales, marketing and administration.
Duties include, but not limited to, placing purchase/sales orders, stock control, maintaining customer stock reports, marketing, communicating directly with suppliers and customers.
Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of systems regarding the BRC Global Standard, ensuring product safety, legality and regulatory compliance.
Applicants must be competent with all aspects of Microsoft Office, Excel and previous use of Sage Accounts would be an advantage but not essential, as training will be given.
The ideal applicant must have excellent customer service and numeracy skills, the ability to solve problems and to be able to work well under pressure.
Assisting with enquiries either by email communication or telephone.
Recording all details accurately on the work database and keeping them up to date.
If suitable you may be asked to carry out some online marketing, essentially maintaining and updating our social media channels to promote T&B Containers services.

The successful candidate must be:
Friendly and professional when dealing with colleagues, customers and suppliers
The ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines, whilst remaining calm under pressure
Self motivated, able to work unsupervised and reliable
A willingness to learn is essential
Ideally you would have some office experience, however this is not essential as training will be given but you must be a confident computer user.
You should have a can do attitude, a good telephone manner and be able to work well within a team.

Class 1 HGV Driver

Job description:

To work from our Wrangle Depot, delivering packaging , both locally and country wide, in curtain sided trailers, in a professional and timely manner. This could be either a "drop and Swap" or waiting to be unloaded by the customer.

Applicants must hold a clean Class 1 licence and have at least 1 years previous experience, with a sound knowledge of driver rules and the working time directive.

Days of work: Monday - Friday and alternate Saturdays.

The job is predominantly day work but you must be available to stay out in your cab whenever required with little or no notice.

Typically starting anytime between 4am - 7am from the Wrangle depot, and you must be willing to stay out overnight if required.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to put a days shift in - some days can be long and you must be prepared to do early starts and late finishes as necessitated by the business.

You will occasionally be required to do short trips in a hook loader to assist our recycling division - and be prepared to drive a shunter vehicle at our Wrangle depot to cover occasional staff holidays. Full training will be given.

You will be responsible for keeping your lorry to a high standard and adhere to our Health and Safety rules.

Current Forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential.

Must be able to communicate in fluent English.

Job Type: Full-time permanent contract.

Salary: £14.25 per hour and £15.50 overtime (for hours worked over 39 each week).

Night out rate: £50 per night.

T&B Containers Ltd - Wrangle Boston Lincolnshire PE22 9DL

A permanent position has arisen for a qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic/Engineer, to work in our busy fleet workshop. The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a team and to a high standard.
Duties to include:
• Preparing trailers and HGV powered vehicles for MOT.
• Servicing and carrying out preventative maintenance inspections on HGV Trailers and fleet plant equipment, including Toyota Forklift Trucks and Ground Care Machinery.
You must be reliable, competent and hold the necessary qualifications for the job.
Must have own driving licence.
HGV Class 1 licence would be an advantage but not essential.
The rate of pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
