It's from the German branch of the European Copper Alliance, and it reinforces that quality matters. This is especially true when this quality is assured by a neutral third party.

We can fully agree with this sentiment, and we are partners of both the German and European Copper Associations, out press and end feed fittings as well as our European factories where these are manufactured are fully certified. 🥇

Piping systems are often invisible—but without them, nothing works.

We rarely see them. And that’s exactly why many people hardly ever think about them.

Yet every day, piping systems ensure that drinking water flows, buildings are heated, and technical systems operate reliably.

That’s why SANHA® develops piping systems for a wide variety of applications.

Hydrogen is shaping the future of energy ⚡🔋

The hydrogen market is growing quickly. As industries around the world are looking for cleaner energy options, hydrogen is becoming more important. 🌱

However, hydrogen is more than production alone.

The industry is complex and multifaceted, covering electrolysis, storage, cooling, transport, and distribution 🏭❄️🚚.

To make this future work, every single component must be ready and reliable. And it doesn’t stop there as hydrogen is often used in combination with other media such as oxygen, nitrogen, compressed air, and refrigerants. Every link in this chain matters.

So, how is SANHA® prepared? ✅

Since 2020, SANHA® is the first manufacturer to have their piping systems SANHA®-Press Gas copper system and NiroSan®-Gas stainless steel system certified by for use with 100% hydrogen 🧪💨. Moreover, SANHA is H₂Ready by the DBI of the 🏆.

Both our NiroSan® Gas and SANHA®-Press Gas are approved for hydrogen applications 🔩🔧, offering safe, durable, and future-proof solutions for modern energy infrastructure.

Pipes don’t freeze. So why do they still need a “jacket”? 🧥

Admittedly, pipes will probably never discuss fashion trends.

Still, they benefit from a good “jacket”—that is, proper insulation.

The reason is simple: Pipes transport heat or cold from one place to another. Without insulation, energy can be lost in the process. In cooling applications, condensation can also form when warm ambient air comes into contact with cold surfaces.

Furthermore, condensation can cause corrosion, for example, in carbon steel.
NiroTherm is a truly excellent alternative (even in screed, plastering water, etc.)!

At SANHA®, we always view piping systems as part of a larger whole. After all, what ultimately matters isn’t just the pipe or the fitting, but the interaction of all components.

Apprentice Hack of the Week: Get Rid of That Burr!!! ❌

If you skip deburring after cutting a pipe—whether it’s copper, steel, or stainless steel—you could be in for some real trouble later on. Why?

1️⃣ Internal burr: It disrupts the flow and causes a significant pressure drop in the pipe.

2️⃣ External burrs: Destroy the sealing elements of press or push-to-connect fittings when the pipes are joined.

Life Hack #1: If you’re using a pipe cutter, rotate it frequently and make only minimal adjustments—this prevents excessive burr formation from the start!

Life Hack #2: Never use an angle grinder on stainless steel—it makes the cut more susceptible to corrosion. It’s better to use a pipe cutter, hacksaw, or similar tool. What do you use?
Be honest: Who actually uses the deburrer every time? 🤫

From Raw Material to Finished Fitting

When you hold a fitting in your hand, you usually see only the finished product.

What you don’t see: the many steps that come before it.

From selecting suitable materials to manufacturing, testing, and quality control, there’s an extensive process behind every component.

SANHA® manufactures piping systems and fittings in its own European factories, placing great emphasis on consistent quality.

Apprentice Hack of the Week: Why Does the Solder Flow Upward? 🤯

Have you ever wondered while soldering why the liquid solder is drawn into the gap against gravity? That’s capillary action! 🧪

🛠️ The trick: This only works if the gap is extremely narrow (between 0.02 and 0.3 mm). If it’s too wide, it won’t work.

The best part: Capillary action also ensures that no solder flows into the pipe.

In the end, you should see a clean solder groove along the edge of the fitting.
How does soldering go for you at work? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Why you should use PURAPRESS 👌🏻

✅ The use of silicon bronze completely avoids any lead contamination of drinking water through the installation itself.

Installers can therefore be certain when it comes to the strict regulations of the Drinking Water Directive regarding lead.

✅ The connection with copper and stainless steel pipes by cold pressing enables a fast, time-saving installation and eliminates the risk of fire during the process.

✅ Our premium material silicon bronze is exceptionally resistant against dezincification and free of tension-crack corrosion.

Did you know? 🤔

After installing a compressed air connection (or actually any connection) it is important to check if the installation is tight and leak proof. For this, you can use a so called Leak detection spray, which can be applied on the joints. If you see small bubbles your connection is not tight yet. ❌

You will also notice that the pressure on the pressure gauge will not rise or only very slowly.
