Over the last few months, we’ve been busy testing new equipment, improving the site’s power supply, and creating permanent roads and paths across the site.

We’re excited to be nearing the finish line, with this project helping to deliver a modern, reliable and resilient water supply for years to come. 💙

A hosepipe can use up to 480 litres of water, but using just four buckets uses around 32 litres.

Save money, save water and keep your car clean with these easy swaps:
✔️ Check the forecast – rain could rinse it for free
✔️ Try waterless car wash products for a quick, eco-friendly clean
✔️ Use a bucket and sponge instead of a hose
✔️ Fill your bucket from a water butt where you can
✔️ Wash early or late in the day to reduce evaporation

We know paddling pools are lots of fun, but a half-filled pool is just as much fun and saves a lot of water.

💧 Cover your pool with a bed sheet or bin bag to keep the water usable for up to three days, just make sure to skim any bugs off the surface.

And you can reuse the water afterwards to wash your car or water your plants. ♻️

When you’re spending time at the beach, a few simple choices can go a long way - like letting the sand dry on your feet and beach toys before brushing it off, rather than rinsing it away with water 💧

Before you head out for the day, rather than running your tap cold, keep bottles of chilled water in the fridge to take with you to keep hydrated.
