When we heard that pupils from a local secondary school were going to miss the England semi-final because they were away on their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) expedition, we were happy to help.
We loaned the school our latest innovation, Renset®, so the young people could watch the match together while out on expedition.
Renset® is a high-performance, battery-powered portable power station designed to provide clean, silent electricity for construction and utilities sites, live music venues, festivals and outdoor events.
• Ultra-quiet operation – less than 30 dB
• Zero on-site emissions – no exhaust fumes
• Professional-grade power – up to 5 kW continuous output and 10 kW peak power
• Continuous operation – swappable battery modules allow batteries to be changed without interrupting the power supply
• Compact and portable – easy to transport and position wherever power is needed
• IP54 rated – suitable for use in all weathers
• Supports sustainability goals – helping reduce reliance on petrol and diesel generators
Renset® offers a practical and reliable alternative to traditional generators, and it was great to see it being put to a slightly different use.

We were pleased to be able to help make their DofE weekend a little more memorable, while giving Renset® a chance to demonstrate what it can do away from the usual working environment.
